Reynoldsburg City Schools is excited to welcome JoJuan Armour to the District as Reynoldsburg High Schools’ football coach, pending board approval. Armour is a former professional athlete from the National Football League (NFL), where he played as a Safety from 1999-2003.
Armour has been with Reynoldsburg City Schools as an education consultant for more than a year, where he facilitates student support and faculty enrichment through mentoring and wellness programs. He was a student support lead for Reynoldsburg High School from 2022-2023 and his student mentorship program has been recognized by the Magic Wand Foundation.
“I am so excited to continue working with the staff and students of Reynoldsburg High School as the Raiders’ football coach,” said Armour. “Just like a football game, success will be built on hard work, resilience and collaboration. I look forward to moving the chains play by play towards our ultimate goal of fostering champions both on and off the field.
“Coach Armour’s track record as a leader and mentor in the classroom makes him the perfect candidate to lead our football team to new heights,,” said Reynoldsburg City Schools' Superintendent Dr. Tracy Reed. “With his guidance, we are confident our students will score on the field and in the classroom. We look forward to seeing his continued impact for the District.”
Armour earned his bachelor of arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio..Armour and his wife Shemane share a blended family with three amazing children. A lifelong learner and wellness advocate, he founded Armour Consulting in 2022 with a mission to partner across sectors, with various stakeholders to protect and improve the quality of life for community members. Armour Consulting, creates programming that supports the social and emotional development process which influences decision making. In his free time Armour enjoys traveling and playing Call of Duty, which provides an opportunity for great conversation and competition with the friends he grew up with.
