Applicants for Cook, Custodian, Maintenance and Secretary positions must take a Civil Service Exam. Civil Service Tests are scheduled as needed by the Civil Service Commission. Notices of Civil Services tests will be posted here and advertised in local newspapers. Registration for future tests will be accepted after notices are posted.
Bus drivers must complete "State-level" bus driver training and certification programs. For more information, contact our Transportation Department at 501-1041.
Paraprofessional applicants must:
Have completed at least 48 semester or 72 quarter hours as verified by a college transcript obtained from an accredited institution of higher education;
OR
Possess an Associate's (or higher) degree from an accredited institution of higher education;
OR
Demonstrate through a formal State or Local academic assessment knowledge of, and the ability to assist in, instructing reading and mathematics; or knowledge of, and the ability to assist in, readiness for reading and mathematics.
