The Ohio Learning Network has opened a gateway called Ohio Learns for high school students to take online courses that will help them be better prepared for college.
High school and college-level courses are available at a cost to the student. Current free offerings are limited to Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
There are three course providers that have approved year-long AP courses in the catalog: Advanced Academics, Aventa Learning and K12, Inc. These AP courses are authorized by the college Board AP Course Audit, provide a highly-qualified, certified teacher available from 6 a.m to midnight weekdays and 24/7 student access and support for maximum scheduling flexibility.
If you are interested in registering for an AP online course, see your guidance counselor and www.ohiolearns.org.
