The Preschool at Slate Ridge, a program of the Educational Services Center of Central Ohio, is designed for children ages three through five who have moderate to significant delays in one or more of the following areas: communication, motor skills, cognitive/adaptive skills, social-emotional/behavioral development, hearing and vision.
Eligibility for children with special needs is determined by a district evaluation team following the eligibility criteria established by the Ohio Department of Education. If you are concerned about your child's development, please contact Sharon Griffith at (614) 753-4726.
Currently, each classroom includes eight children with special needs and five peer models. Typically developing children may attend the preschool program as peer models. Peer model students may be eligible for free or reduced tuition and transportation based on family income.
Reynoldsburg provides transportation to qualifying students, based on where they live. For more information about transportation rules, bus stops, change requests, etc., please click
