Online Learning

Online Learning

It is the expectation that students are learning from home on days that are deemed Online Learning Days following their regular class schedule. Teachers will provide links to live online learning sessions and will provide assignments online. Teachers will be available via email or on the virtual learning platform (such as Google Meets) in case students need support.

Information about Attendance and Assignments:
  • Teachers will keep student attendance just as a typical school day. Any students who show evidence of logging on AND interacting, will be marked as “present.” Others should be marked absent, unless they return a note for an excused absence.
  • Teachers will be active and available on the portal (Google, Echo, email, etc.) throughout the day, to answer questions and to interact with students.
  • Students and families will be provided guidance in the form of informal feedback and grading assignments.
  • Students will still be held accountable to work deadlines.
To initiate interpreter services to communicate with students, please contact Tracy Massey, Coordinator of Language Acquisition, at [email protected] for support.

For support for digital content, please contact Angie Griffin, curriculum support, at [email protected].

All other questions should be directed to your teacher or building principal.
