WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) is the safe school initiative of the National Center for Fathering that involves fathers and father figures to help create a more safe and secure learning environment in our nation's schools.
During the 2013-14 school year more than 344,000 fathers and father figures volunteered as Watch D.O.G.S. in more than 4,000 schools, across 46 states, creating more than 2.4 million in school volunteer hours and impacting the lives of over 2 million students. We want to thank you for everything you have done to make the Watch D.O.G.S. program so successful.
Who are Watch D.O.G.S.? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day each year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator. To learn more, click
