=        Each student and their family group/unit will be directed into an assigned parking spot at the north end of the football field. Students and their family unit/group will stay together through the entire process.

=        Once parked each student and family group will stay in their vehicle until directed by a member of the RCSD Safety and Security Team to proceed to the north entrance of the football stadium.

=        At the stadium entrance each student and family group/unit will proceed down the entrance path to designated stopping points. This process will be used to ensure social distancing from other family units/groups.

=        As the line of graduates and family group/unit move forward the process will repeat until the final station.

=        At the final station the graduates name will be announced and he or she will walk to the diploma staging area and where he/she will step onto the stage to accept their diploma cover. Each diploma will be laid on a table for the graduate to pick up and display for their ceremonial picture.

=        The four members of the graduates’ family will be able to watch and cheer from out in front of the stage area.

=        From the stage area each graduate and family unit/group will follow the path created toward the visitor sideline, off the field, and through a separate gate to get to the parking lot.

Dear Reynoldsburg High School Families of the Class of 2020,

Last week, the District outlined some elements to our graduation procedures as we work to provide the Class of 2020 some semblance of a graduation experience due to the impact of COVID19. We wanted to update you on a few questions we received regarding senior fees and cap and gown pick up.
Senior Fees:
One of the questions we have received was in regard to the $55 senior fee. Typically, those funds are utilized to help defray cost of graduation including: the diploma, diploma cover, rentals, the space at the Schottenstein Center, etc. The fees paid by seniors do not begin to cover the entire cost of graduation. It should be noted that our senior fees are substantially less than those charged by other districts and we have chosen to support our students in that way.
This year, funds accrued from senior fees will cover the cost for graduation items required to create an exciting graduation experience for our seniors despite the hurdle of COVID19. Those items are: the diploma, diploma cover and rentals for the platform/stage at the football stadium, among other surprises.
Cap and Gown Drive-Through Pick Up
The other frequently asked question we received was regarding cap and gown pick up. We want to be sure we allow seniors plenty of time to pick up their items and have them steamed for pictures and the Graduation Walk.
Cap and gown pick-up will be on May 6, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at both Reynoldsburg High School’s Summit and Livingston Campuses.
Distribution will be drive-through, no contact pick-up. Your car will pull up to the front of the school (where busses typically drop off), you will give your name and open a car door or the trunk. A representative from Herff Jones will place the cap and gown in the vehicle, and you will be able to exit the pick-up area.
To make the process as seamless as possible, please be sure to pay for your cap and gown before May 6th by going online at https://www.herffjones.com/graduation/#caps-gowns. Students who do not pay ahead of time can pay on site via two computers we will have linked to the Herff Jones website. They can then show their receipt to the Herff Jones representative to receive their cap and gown. If students do not wish to pay electronically, they will need to mail a check or money order for $60.95 ($50 for cap & gown plus $10.95 shipping) to Herff Jones Inc., 37B Lucasville Minford Rd., Lucasville, OH 45648. If you do not pay for your items prior to or on May 6th via electronic payment, you cannot pick them up on that day. Herff Jones will ship the items to you.
If you have any questions regarding senior fees, cap and gown pick up, procedures, or payment, please contact your Graduation Advisor (Mrs. Nash, Mrs. Rettke or Mr. Underwood) or Academy Principal. We thank you for your patience, understanding and flexibility and are excited to celebrate the Class of 2020.
Sincerely,
Dr. Tonya
