Easter Seals plans summer camp in Reynoldsburg
Easter Seals of Central Ohio will sponsor a two-week camp this summer at Summit Road Elementary, 8591 Summit Road, for children with disabilities or special needs.
The Easter Seals mission is to provide “exceptional services for people with disabilities or special needs and their families to live, learn, work and play in their communities.”

Slate Ridge earns third 'Promise' Award
Slate Ridge Elementary has been named a “School of Promise” by the Ohio Department of Education for the third year in a row. The award recognizes high performance in schools with at least 40 percent economically disadvantaged students.
“We don’t let students who might be disadvantaged use that as an excuse,” Slate Ridge Principal Sue Martin said. “All the kids are treated equal here and get the same opportunity.”
