8th Grade Exploration!

8th grade Career Connections at the OSU Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory:

STEM students went on an amazing field trip, to The OSU Waterman Farms!   At SMBR, STEM is explored through the lenses of Health Sciences, Social Justice and Environmental Science.  Our partnership with the OSU College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, enhances and further enriches our study of Environmental Sciences.  Mr. Browning (Career Connections) and Mr. Irwin (Geographical Cultivation) along with our scholars had an opportunity to experience an immersive experience of what the future has in store for food and our environment.
