Our school will receive 50% of all sales, which will be used to provide our staff and students with exciting learning opportunities and supplemental materials. 

So far, we've raised $1,796.00 and earned $898 in profit!

However, there are only eight active stores.  
We want YOU to be as excited and motivated as we are so, we're offering gift cards to the daily top sellers!! 

The class with the top sales will receive their choice of a pizza party or a sundae bar with ALL of the toppings!

Hello STEM Middle Families!

This is a reminder that our annual College Credit Plus Information Session will be held virtually on Wednesday, February 17th at 6:00 pm. Below you will find the link to the Zoom Meeting. 

College Credit Plus is Ohio's dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students' career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families. 

You will also hear from representatives from The Ohio State University, Columbus State Community College and Otterbein University who can answer any questions you may have about their programs.

Another fun day at STEM Middle! Thursday students participated virtually in our second day of STEM Goes Red! Please help us support our cause by donating to the American Heart Association. Thank you in advance for you contribution!
WOW!!! What a STEM-tastic day at SMBR!!!
Today kicked off our two day "STEM Goes Red" Event!
Students participated both physically and virtually in various heart healthy activities in association with the American Heart Association. Students discussed Social Media & Mental Health, how to "Win the Mental Battle" in life, got moving with PE teacher Mr. Miller, & enjoyed some Meditation with Ms. Artis & Ms. Rahe.
Can't wait for Day 2!!! Special THANK YOU to our event lead Mrs. Davis!!!

We have decided to reschedule Friday's make-up tests so that all of our students can fully participate in tomorrow's Maker's Market event.
We anticipate these tests will take place early next week.  
Additional information will be sent out by the end of the day.

Please join us for this year’s reimagined Makers’ Market fundraiser outdoor sale. Students have been working hard to grow a variety of plants as well as design and build products geared toward community members who want to make the most of their outdoor spaces this spring, and maybe even pick-up an early mothers’ day gift. Funds from the event are being collected by PTO to fund future STEM programming.The sale will take place on Friday, May 7th and run from 10:20 AM-3:30 PM. We apologize that this was rescheduled from its original date.

You can sign up to shop at any time of the day, however, if you want to make sure to visit the Market while your student is selling, please check the times below to see what time they will be manning tables. Not all students will be selling outside at the same time. 

Selling times are arranged according to the Students’ Advisory Teacher. 

Group A- Selling from 1:00-2:20 - Pryor, Lichtner, Ragins, Prater, Vandevelde, Keith

Group B- Selling from 2:20-3:30 - Oliver, Tubbs, Jayes, Murawski, Costa/Gerbus, Johnson

Group C- Selling from 10:15-11:40 - Azbell, Holloway, Rossi/Supe, Wire, Severt, Karpuz

Group D- Selling from 11:40-1:00 - Swanson, Heath, Merritt/Fowler/Teaford, Davis, Miller, Papas, Smart

Please make sure that you have signed up for a shopping time before purchasing prepaid shopping cards, with Venmo. Shopping cards are non-refundable, and any unused amount left on the card will be considered a donation to help fund educational opportunities for our students. Cards are sold in $5 increments, and will also be available for purchase, with cash, the day of the event.

Virtual students will not be selling in-person at the event but are invited to drop-off their products with a teacher who will be stationed at the building’s entrance on Wednesday 4/28 and Wednesday 5/5 from 9 AM until 3:30 PM. Virtual students are also invited to shop at the event, but must be accompanied by their own parent or guardian. Drop-offs are prohibited.

(As a weather dependent event, Makers' Market has the potential to be moved to Monday, May 10th in the case of inclement weather. This decision will be made my Wednesday, May 5th at 10am.)
