School-Based Health Services

Reynoldsburg City Schools partners with Nationwide Children’s Hospital to offer medical services to students and their siblings. 

The primary care clinic at Reynoldsburg High School-Livingston Campus is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The Vision Center is open Tuesdays from 8 a.m.-3 p.m..

Primary Care Services
Provides access to health care for children ages 0-21 at the Livingston Campus. Services include annual checkups, vaccines, primary care mental health, teen health care, psychiatry services, care coordination, sick visits, and chronic disease management, like asthma, ADHD and more.
 
Roving Vaccination Clinics
Provides all recommended childhood vaccines at school, including flu and COVID-19.
 
Behavioral and Mental Health Services
Provides comprehensive preventive and therapeutic behavioral and mental health services year-round in school, at home, and in the community. Includes evidence-based and evidence-informed services, like universal school-wide prevention, group, individual and family therapy, community supportive psychiatric treatment, and outpatient psychiatry and telepsychiatry. Examples of programming include Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy Skills in Schools, and Too Good for Drugs and Violence. School-Based Asthma Therapy
Partnership between the school nurse and medical provider to ensure students with high-risk asthma   can receive their medication every day by taking it at school.

Diabetes and School Health
Diabetes medication management program that works with school nurses to provide additional access and care for students with Type 1 diabetes.
 
Roving Dental Care
Provides comprehensive dental services to prevent and repair tooth decay, pain and infections. Includes cleanings, fluoride treatments, oral exams, x-rays, fillings, sealants and more.
 
Vision Care
Nationwide Children’s experts offer vision services for students in need of an eye exam or glasses adjustments, as well as ordering new glasses.
 
Sports Medicine
Nationwide Children’s experts provide age-appropriate treatment and prevention of injuries in active students of all ages and skill levels, including band, drama, sports and anything in between.
 
Transportation
Nationwide Children’s Hospital offers transportation to school-based health care services from select schools within the district. If a student from a participating school needs care, our team will work together to confirm consent, schedule the appointment and transport the student to a school-based health center nearby.
